WEIGHING IN

In my typical suburban house wife’s quest to stay fit, I have noticed my husband’s ever shrinking waist line and his exploding ego. Since I have started eating healthy, Ben has lost three pant sizes. Me on the other hand? I have lost four pounds and some change and not a single pant size. WHY WHY WHY?! We are eating the same things, except that he cheats like a mother fucker, eating the occasional KING SIZE Reese bar, ice cream, Buffalo wings, chips, ranch pretzel bits and it does not affect him at all! How is it fair that I haven’t cheated at all, and I lose a measly four damn pounds? We get PMS, then we get our periods and have to walk around either with a nasty pad, or tube of cotton jammed up there (and hopes it stays put). Our boobs ache, we get cramps, we get fat, we get annoyed, and then hopefully we get skinny again, all in time to deal with everyone else’s shit. We have to clean up after the men and the kids, make the arrangements for play dates, prepare and serve the dinners, care for the sick, and what do we get in return? FAT!!!!!!!!!



So enough bitching for the moment, in my quest to lose weight, I have found God’s gift to girls that like to eat. The Hungry Girl Cook Book and hungrygirl.com. This woman, (angel of all things food) has subbed out bad for you, fatty or unnecessary ingredients for good for you stuff without raping you of the flavor, or the feeling that you are eating something delicious!!!! I have made several recipes from the book so far and even the kid’s love them! Aside from my new BFF Hungry Girl, I have been doing Wieght Watchers, it is an absolute must for the clueless people that don’t know what or how much of what they should be putting into their mouths.



So I am down to 157 and counting, to my goal of 130. Hopefully I will have a six pack just like my husband, by the time I rant my next blog! Don’t change the channel yet 
